I thoroughly enjoy this keyboard. The lighting is a little gimmicky, but I expected that when purchasing. They can be distracting, but are entertaining and ultimately can be turned off in the settings. In my opinion its better to have and not want, than to need and not have. The construction of the product seems durable. I purchased it for gaming purposes, specifically World of Warcraft, and for that application it's definitely overkill. If you've never used a mechanical keyboard (as was the case for me) they are significantly louder than traditional membrane keyboards when typing and pressing the key in general. So there is some getting used to that aspect and maybe a deal breaker if you play in the same room as others ie door rooms, or living rooms. The plus side of it is that you know when you have successfully pressed a key both by feel and the audible click that is made when using this keyboard. The most accurate description I can give without one hearing it is it compares very closely to a typewriter. As a techhead and gamer I overall love it. The detachable cord design of this model definitely noteworthy. While i've never had a keyboard cable get a short or become damaged as i dont travel with my keyboard or move it often, but the ability to replace just a cable if the one supplied should fail is definitely a plus. The keyboard side of this cable is a micro usb so I have several compatable cables just laying around the house. The keys are great and will be easy to clean when the time comes. I'm trying to think of other stuff to comment on that other may want to know before purchasing. To sum it up,if you are on the fence and are reading this review, pull the trigger. I love this keyboard, it's definitely worth the money, and I have no regrets after using for a few days. If I encounter issues or problems i'll update this comment.
Purchased the MagicJack Plus this past summer (2012) and about a month ago (December 2012) suddenly the 3 numbers I call most stopped working. When I dial my mothers house, my own cell phone or my office I started getting a recording saying, "To purchase pre-paid minutes please visit ". After doing some research I learned that they will monitor the calls you make and after a few months, you'll get the same recording on your most frequent calls. The customer service will get you caught up for hours having you unplug, cycle off, re-plug, try this and that.. they'll pretend they are messing with settings on their end. The know exactly what you are talking about because it's the new #1 complaint of customers. They'll point you finally to their new TOS (which, if you google, is full of FCC violations - namely the vague "..we may require prepaid purchase or we may charge you for calls to conference lines, platforms and certain non-ILEC area calls, or any call wherein we incur a cost from another carrier. " Which basically gives them 'permission' to charge you for any call they want to-- which will be the calls you make most.) Free phone calls for life? Sound too good to be true? IT IS. Buyer Beware!
Easy to install and looks clean on the dash of my Wrangler. The switch is illuminated with blue light and looks great...for a short while. The blue back light stopped working within about 9 days.
I would say 1 star is a stretch...I have a dozen boxes of The previously released K cups that are no longer any good. I just got off the phone with corporate and they said I can no longer use looseleaf tea adapters or filter cups. They did say somebody will contact me in the next 24 to 48 hours and see about reimbursing me for my money spent on the previously released cups. As far as the brewing I actually have to stand there and hold the button for it to brew and a large Tervis cup will no longer fit into the cup cradle this is absolutely terrible and useless to me now. The point of convenience was it saved me time and money, this is no longer the case. The 2.0 will definitely be going back to the store and I will be searching for in alternative brewing system a complete disappointment and let down from one of my favorite kitchen devices.
