  • A. Preiss - none existent customer service, you'll need a friend with some advanced computer skills

Originally had 2010 version of this program which I had set up for an automatic back to a 3rd system hard drive. I ran in the background flawlessly, literally for years. Until the other day when I needed to recover an old image from and old laptop that I had backed with Acronis years ago. Found out then that my version had expired. No problem I thought, I'd liked the program and don't mind upgrading. That's when I began to hate Acronis. Turns out the 2010 version is particularly difficult to uninstall. Took me about two days because Acronis doesn't have an 800 number, or tech support chat, or really any customer service at all unless you're buying something. All there is, a customer forum where I finally found a solution. In this day and age I expect software to be able to uninstall older versions, I think that's a reasonable expectation. And not to have to perform an exhaustive google search.

  • M. Miller - Looked fantastic....for 3 months. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Our old porcelain tub was starting to look very worn, so I decided to refinish it. After a great deal of research I opted for this 2-part kit. As far as prep and application, I followed the directions to the letter. I should also state that I worked for many years as a professional automotive painter. The fall out I experienced was due to the product, not preparation or application. I finished the tub just before we left for vacation to allow for ample curing time. Upon our return, the tub was beautiful. There was minor solvent popping, but nothing major. It looked almost new.

  • MarinTrader - Good but pricey

I read the "Turbo Protein Diet" book which heavliy marketed and based its diet on the Almased powder. To give the diet a fair chance, I ordered the Almased. While it appears to be of high quality, thickens up the shake well (I only used water to limit the amount of calories and carbs), and tastes acceptable - it does help you drop pounds as promised in the book. HOWEVER, I am big on getting good deals and getting the most for my money. To this aim I also ordered Spirutein strawberry flavored protein powder. After losing 10 pounds on the Almased, I started flavoring my shakes with the Spirutein. Once I ran out of Almased, I continued the diet using only the Spirutein with the same results. Another 10 pounds lost. My non-scientific conclusion? You can get the same results using Spirutein, save over 30% the expense of Almased, get a better tasting shake and Spriutein also comes in banana, chocolate and other flavors. BTW - Spriutein is also non-GMO, all natural and very comparable to Almased.

  • Kelly O - Youch.

These were a bit tight. I had a different pair of Dansko tennis shoes (can't recall the exact style) that were the same size and much more comfortable. I bought these because I couldn't find my old pair on Amazon. After two weeks wearing these in the OR where I work, my feet are aching and I am considering buying a new pair of something else. Holding out to see if they just need breaking in, but so far I am unimpressed. They are sleek though.
