The primary screening platform is built upon a dual arm Beckman-Coulter Biomek FX Automation Workstation. The workstation contains both a 96-channel and variable spanning 8-channel pipettor and is equipped with fully integrated peripherals that permit unattended operation for up to 12 hours.

TI-3D Automation and High throughput screening facility operates on a staff-assisted model and on a fee-based structure.  All the chemical and biochemical data are securely managed by the facility director in collaboration with Collaborative Drug Discovery (CDD) and TI-3D’s user police controls the users’ access to the data.

RNA interference presents many opportunities for use in gene technology and double-stranded RNA molecules have been designed to activate the silencing of specific genes in humans, animals or plants. HTP of siRNA libraries have resulted in an explosion of vital information on the regulation of signaling pathways and drug targets. The opportunity to generate data by developing screens for novel targets for the treatment of diseases or unraveling biological processes has the potential to lead to the generation of new ideas. Thus the information generated from HTP RNAi screens is enormous contributing significantly to furthering our understanding of the complexities of biological systems.

We provide advanced bioinformatics and systems biology algorithms to integrate various genomics data with high throughput screening data (e.g. RNAi, natural compounds and drug combinations) for bioinformatics rational, optimizing screening experimental design, predicting effective targets and drugs, as well as interpreting mechanisms of action in cancer drug and target discovery and development studies.

  • http://www.txsact.org/events/high-throughput-screening-an-overview High Throughput Screening: An Overview | TxSACT - High throughput screening (HTS) is a highly valuable experimental process to assaying a large number of parameters against specific criteria.  For drug discovery and development, it provides a systematic and efficient method of identifying potential targets, drugs and/or molecular information that can be beneficial to fighting disesase.  Successful screening is dependent on the type of experimental set-up and the careful implementation of that set-up in a high-throughput platform.
  • http://www.txsact.org/screening-applications Application Instructions | TxSACT - These instructions are intended to guide investigators submitting applications to the Gulf Coast Consortium for Chemical Genomics – Texas Screening Alliance for Cancer Therapeutics joint program through the application web portal. In addition to using this site, you can download a PDF of these instructions.
  • http://www.txsact.org/screening-applications/review-process Review Process | TxSACT - Each research project application will undergo two levels of pre-screening review, one for technical feasibility as a high-throughput screening project and the other for scientific merit. If a research project has already been reviewed and funded by CPRIT or the NIH, it will be considered scientifically qualified and will only be reviewed for technical feasibility to ensure compatibility with TxSACT resources. The Technical Review Committee will be comprised of the screening experts from each of the TxSACT screening programs.

  • pink mama - GREAT for work!

This is great software for work! I bought this to update the AutoCAD I have used for years. This is a huge time saver.

  • Pooh - I used at a wedding!

I always wanted Christmas light projection, so I purchased this with the intention of using at Christmas time.

  • Connie W. Lamb - Love it

My partner said I have been snoring ever since we met. He was so embarrassed to even tell me that you snore so loud. I was using different snoring mouth guards which never worked for me. Ever since I started using this Anti Snoring Chin Strap, I have been sleeping like a baby. I love it.
